The editorial ‘The Perfect Slice’ will explore the transformative process of raw and synthetic textures merging with one another. Drawing references from the Palaeolithic era — or ‘stone age’ — to project and describe humanity’s near future of a more regenerative world as our lives are enmeshed in the trappings of an emerging post-war modernity. The concept will draw references from Loewe Fall 2022 Runway Collection which explores wild juxtapositions and pushes the boundaries of what could be seen as irrational and primal. The editorial will span two rooms — living room and dining— to connect with the idea of ludic interplay of what is seen and what is not, in a sense of exposing intimacy, privacy and stripping bare the textures of raw materials.

A continuity of a feminine yet edgy aesthetic will be explored through the contrast of textures. From creased and wrinkled stone and rock to diaphanous and tender fabrics, the concept is pushed into an innovative style and creates anomalies. The duality expressed through the editorial has an evocative place for modern imagination whilst encouraging a more natural and organic living.
